Lotus 3-Eleven review
Buying
What should I be paying?
Whichever version you go for it’s certainly not cheap, around twice the price of an equivalently fast Ariel Atom or Caterham 620 (still not BAC Mono money, though). But this feels and acts a much more serious car. As the name makes clear, only 311 are being made in total, so exclusivity is guaranteed and that should help keep residuals high – something a hopeful Lotus renaissance should help underline. And for a car like this that’s just about the only running cost that matters. Oh, and making sure your insurance permits you to take it on track, of course.
