Turns out that beyond digging massive great holes, knocking down derelict buildings and smashing up wrecked old cars, there's a better use for a dirty great digger. Yup, it's a mobile theme-park ride.

Clearly bereft of alternative amusement in the frozen wastes of a wintery Scandinavia, a bunch of hardy Finns have posted this eye-popping video of a mate strapping himself to an excavator's bucket and swinging around at Clarkson-in-an-Atom face-bending speed.
