Peter Rawlins
Peter is one half of TopGear magazine’s subbing team, with over seven years of experience in the automotive industry. After completing his degree in English at Bournemouth University, he honed his craft in automotive marketing before joining TopGear in early 2020 – where he promptly spent the first six months getting to know the team over Zoom because of the small matter of a pandemic.
When he’s not correcting his colleagues’ spelling and grammar, these days he can be found writing news, galleries and reviews for the magazine and TopGear.com, or getting roped in to hold the photographer’s flash in the middle of a sodden car park in Wantage. A keen lover of French hot hatches, he also still hasn’t quite got over the RenaultSport Clio 182 he sold over a year ago. Don’t ask.
