This special Fiat 126B is the winner of the 2025 Hot Wheels Legend Tour

Teeny little Fiat will now be immortalised as a diecast 1:64 toy

The votes have been counted, the scores have been verified… and a custom Fiat 126B has been crowned the global champion of the 2025 Hot Wheels Legends Tour, earning immortalisation in the shape of a Hot Wheels 1:64 diecast toy.

It comes from Poland, where its owner Pawel Czarnecki spent more than 2,500 hours working on the car, and an additional 800 hours 3D printing components, to give it a proper rally-ified look. Wouldn’t look out of place on a WRC stage, this thing. Well, a very small WRC stage.

Because this isn’t just any old Fiat 126B, but a proper Frankenstein. First came an engine upgrade, with power now coming from a Fiat Uno 1.4 Turbo block producing 200 horsepower, paired with a Nissan 200SX GT28 turbocharger and a Fiat Punto GT gearbox. Clearly Czarnecki is pretty handy with the spanners.

It also gets a bodykit that adds nearly half a metre to its width, and there's custom coilover suspension, period-correct HTN Motorsport three-piece wheels, Fiat Uno brakes, a front hinged bonnet for rapid repairs and adjustments on the rally stage and a full roll cage. Serious business.

“Car enthusiasts in Poland have shown incredible support for the Tour over the years and Paweł Czarnecki’s custom Fiat exemplifies the talent and imagination that fans from Poland — and around the world — bring to the Hot Wheels Legends Tour,” said Ted Wu, global head of vehicles and building sets at Mattel. Great job.

Since its launch in 2018, the Legends Tour has grown into a bit of a global phenomenon, with Czarnecki seeing off competition from 16 countries – including this father and son’s custom 1982 E21 BMW 3 Series from the UK

He now sees his Fiat 126B turned into a 1:64 scale Hot Wheels diecast model, available to buy globally. Hopefully it makes all those hours spent building this thing worth it…
