First look at F1 2011 videogame

‘A-ha', you triumphantly declare, ‘I can beat those fiendishly devilish thumbs of Fernando Alonso and become F1 world champion, for sure'.

Here's your chance. We've got our hands on the first stills released from 2011's official F1 racing sim. It's cunningly titled F1 2011, and will hit your local bazaar/village fete/reputable outlet on 24 September.

Being highly official, you get the chance to drive for every single team competing in this year's field. Perhaps you can persuade Schuey into victory...

New tracks include the new-for-2011 Buddh circuit in India, as well as the ‘Ring, and you get split-screen high-def racing, 16-player online multiplay and all the 2011 details including KERS, DRS and even the Pirelli tyres.

If you own an Xbox 360, PS3, PC, NGP or 3DS, you can play it. If you own a Chequers board, you probably can't. Best get yourself a console, then.
