Mansory has turned the Ford GT into an unassuming sleeper for introverts
Much yellow and carbon meet in this 700bhp, inlet-packed study on keeping things quiet
Remember the Le Mansory from five years ago? The third-gen Ford GT spin-off was a byword for unprovocative, and now, Mansory has made it even more likely to slip your gaze with this one-off.
Created in partnership with Under Amour, and thus creatively named the ‘Under Armour Le Mansory’ (we’ll just call it 'The Introvert' to keep it simple), the new colourways pair naked carbon with a bright yellow finish for maximum modesty.
Would you believe us if we told you there’s an aftermarket body kit attached? Shock horror. The Introvert has significantly different front and rear bumpers from the standard car, plus a far less assertive rear wing. This lot increases the overall width by 5cm (now 205), but it should still be able to squeeze through Marble Arch. Maybe.
Other exterior modifications include 21in ‘FC.5’ forged alloys, a pair of roof scoops and a revised three-pipe exhaust. We do quite like the fresh headlights though, which help set The Introvert apart from its deeply extroverted original self.
Mechanically, the 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 now channels 700bhp (and 620lb ft) to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic. That increase enables an extra 4mph for a new vmax of 219, though we’re not sure how the original 2.8s 62mph sprint has been affected.
Reckon this is the final boss of sleeper shopping cars?
