Lumma has tuned Jaguar’s F-Pace

German tuning house has beefed up Britain’s newest SUV to 480bhp. Then added carbon. Obvs

Published: 10 Aug 2016

It was inevitable, wasn’t it? SUVs are veritable catnip to tuning houses, so when Jaguar decided to enter the fray with the F-Pace, []of course[] the world’s premiere automotive fabricators would go to town on it.

Well, German tuner Lumma Design is the first to show its hand with these renders.

Called the Lumma CLR F, it’s the first set of upgrades we’ve seen for the big Jag and we have to say it looks rather mean.

All the standard shouty tuner hallmarks are there: full carbon fibre body kit (including hood), slammed suspension, massive 24-inch alloy wheels and quad exhausts the size of industrial guttering.

It’s not just aesthetics, though, as the engine has also been played with. Obviously using the biggest engine available as a base – JLR’s 3.0-litre supercharged V6 – Lumma decided to fiddle with the ECU to extract another hundred horses out of it. Bringing the total to 480bhp.

Inside, there’s a slightly more Premiership footballer-friendly cabin. Leather and Alcantara are the flavours of the day with either carbon fibre or wood being used as contrasting trim options. Plus, there’s a new aluminium pedal set and fancy embroidered floor mats. Because everyone loves embroidered floor mats.
