ABT has revealed a 750bhp, limited-edition Audi RSQ8

The ‘Legacy Edition’ also features tweaked suspension and a throatier exhaust as part of the £80k overhaul

Published: 10 Feb 2025

The Audi RSQ8 is (somehow) a more civilised version of its Lamborghini Urus sibling, but what if you want your four-ringed family hauler with just as much attitude? ABT will happily oblige with what it’s calling the ‘Legacy Edition’: a limited-run aftermarket upgrade which turns the needle up to 11 and points it right at the big Lambo.

It starts by fiddling with the 4.0-litre biturbo V8’s engine management system before bolting on a shiny new intercooler to help send an extra 120bhp (now totalling 750) through the eight-speed gearbox to all four corners. There’s a new quad-pipe stainless steel exhaust which, according to ABT, ensures “adequate” sound. That’s probably one way to put it.

There’s a minor rework to the air suspension, damping and electronic roll stabilisers, which should come in handy when you’re... stuck in traffic.

And what aftermarket overhaul is complete without a shoutier body? ABT has fitted a more aggressive carbon front lip, side skirt, rear diffuser and wing, with a new set of snorkels on its bonnet. You also get bigger wheel arches, along with new mirror caps and wheelhouse vents.

The cabin’s packed with more bespoke elements, like healthier amounts of Alcantara and carbon accompanied by fresh door sill trims, floor mats and embroidered headrests. The standard stuff is present and correct, including a 12.3in digital display, dual-screen central setup and Bang & Olufsen audio system. In this ABT version, you might pay more attention to the various RS-specific graphics too, such as the lap time and g-force counters. Though these might not be quite as effective in, well, traffic.

Just 125 versions of this lairier Q8 kit will be available at €95,900 (circa £80,000) each.
