In late 2024 we pitted the then-new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 (aka Prado) against the Land Rover Defender, Mercedes G-Class and Ineos Grenadier.

Now we’ve gotten hold of what might be the ultimate Toyota Land Cruiser (thanks to some Arctic Trucks upgrades) and pitched it back into the fray against rivals that have equally been turned up to 11: Land Rover’s ridiculously powerful Defender Octa, an Ineos Grenadier complete with portal axles (courtesy of LeTech) and a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that’s been modded by Storm Jeeps.
