Watch: Ken Block drifts the new Focus RS

Published: 04 Feb 2015

Ford's new Focus RS - revealed yesterday to successfully steal at least some of the Ferrari 488 GTB's thunder - features a new four-wheel-drive system able to continuously vary the torque balance front-to-back and across the rear axle.

There is no traditional limited slip differential, nor an ‘e-diff', but twin clutches at the back and one at the front to help eliminate understeer, provide massive grip and, um, a smidge of oversteer should you require it.

Ken Block it would seem, requires it. A lot. In this video released by Ford, TG's favourite tyre slayer takes Ford's new 316bhp-plus, turbocharged, 4WD super-hot hatch, and makes it squeal.

We've now run out of words, so just sit back, listen to that 2.3-litre Mustang-derived engine and watch Block do what he does best.
