This really is the last one: behold, the V12 Pagani Zonda Arrivederci

Guess who’s back? That’s right: a 7.3-litre V12 monster with a manual gearbox

Published: 14 Aug 2024

This is the Pagani Zonda Arrivederci, what we’re promised really is the very, very last new Zonda. Though try telling that to a hypercar that simply refuses to leave the party at a respectable hour.

All the better for it, we’d proffer. What we have here is yet another spectacular one-off, built by a company that specialises in spectacular one-offs, spun off a car that remains spectacular. In the absence of a proper reveal from Pagani, these renders have been released by Scottish company Modena Design UK; a bespoke renderiser of super and hypercars, who has kindly shared these virtual images with TG showcasing what it rendered for the Arrivederci client.

And it's some car. The Arrivederci is rumoured to pack the 7.3-litre AMG V12 from the Zonda Barchetta, which means 789bhp and 811lb ft of torque, matched up to a six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels to the tune of… Very Fast. No performance data has yet been revealed.

But what little we do know from Modena Design’s renders showcases plentiful carbon fibre – crystal clear, blue and silver – with a fully bespoke livery in Martini-inspired colours. The livery’s replicated across the rear wing endplates, attached of course, to a brand new rear wing: a completely bespoke addition built just for the Arrivederci.

The rear lights were inspired by the Zonda R, the rear air ducts by the Zonda C12, flared arches and doubled canards from the Zonda 760 and front intakes and ducts from the Zonda Barchetta. If you’re thinking it’s a Now That’s What I Call Zonda: Greatest Hits, you’re not far off.

Elsewhere you’ll spot bespoke wheels, a red leather interior and a steering wheel derived from the Zonda F.

The price? Unrepeatable. Largely because we have nothing to repeat – we simply don’t know, but it’ll likely run into eight figure territory, as is the way with these things. Seems the Zonda’s farewell party is an expensive one. Arrivederci indeed, old friend... until the next one, obviously.
