Interior

What is it like on the inside?

Being shorter and narrower than the Peel P50 –the world’s smallest car before the P45 arrived – it’s quite cosy inside. In a way, you are the interior. So if you wore the right jacket, it would actually have leather trim and plenty of padding.

And, like all the greatest roadsters, the P45 gives you a real sense of bringing the outside world in. The smell of freshly cut grass, a light breeze, a violent car wash brush that flings toxic soap into your eyes – these are the unique pleasures of al fresco motoring.

But although you’re never completely inside it, you never really have to leave it. Like on public transport, for example, where the P45 will shield you from diseases. Or when filling up with fuel, which can be done directly from the driver’s seat.
