Interior
What is it like on the inside?
It’s all very nice in current Peugeots, with material quality and fit and finish right up there with the Germans. Perhaps inevitably it’s the details that let it down slightly: that wheel infuriates, for example, while the touchscreen is a multi-layer-menu demonstration of frustration. Just try changing a radio channel or destination without wanting to punch it. It’s even a multi-press process just to change the temperature in the cabin, for goodness sake.
Being the GTI, there’s a smattering of go-faster signatures, some badging here and there, a pair of decent sports seats and some contrasting stitching. All very sensible and reasonably spacious too: this is a five-door hatchback after all, albeit a fast one.
