Interior

What is it like on the inside?

The EV project’s moonshot graphics on the mats and speakers are all here to remind us again just how quickly the team designed and built the vehicles. As are the detachable translucent roof panels, which can be stowed in the frunk, giving the cabin a more spacious and airy feel.

All the switchgear, screens – complete with their game-inspired graphics – and seats are as per the pickup. So the main focus is the rear load area. This is accessed by a motorised, side-hinged door which opens and closes with the same leisurely certainty as a safe door. It can’t be much lighter than a vault door thanks to its size and with the spare wheel hanging off the back of it.

The load area is wide and flat, just like the rest of the cabin. The rear seats fold completely flat so you could fit a bicycle or similar in there with ease.
