Buying

What should I be paying?

The Speed Six is a bargain. Sure, the RRP is £1.5 million, plus VAT, and your unique customisation will boot that figure into the multi-millions. But a ‘real’, original Speed Six will set you back ten times that amount, and this one’s built to modern tolerances.

So it’s probably more reliable, a smidge more powerful, and there’s no excuse not to use it. And use it you can, because this is an official Bentley, and therefore it can be certified for proper race events like Classic Le Mans. But not road-rallies, naughty.
