Sharapova, this is your motorhome

Yesterday, while at the Winter Olympics, leggy Porsche ambassador Maria Sharapova tweeted a picture of a bizarre, giant motorhome, asking 'What's the story behind this ridiculous thing?'

Fear not, Maria. TG is here to help. The bizarre, giant motorhome is the Marchi Mobile eleMMent Palazzo - something we first showed you on TG.com two years ago.

It costs three million bucks, looks like a Klingon pig and makes Jeremy, James and Richard's campervan efforts look massively shoddy. But unlike the outrageous £244 million Monaco-shaped superyacht this self-described 'land yacht' is very much a reality.

Details are slim on who owns it, why it's in Sochi and for what reason. But considering the Austrian-built megahome is equipped with a bar, rainfall shower, pop-up roof terrace and wood-burning fireplace, it sounds like the perfect place to kick back and relax after competitively falling down ice in lycra.
