Breil is building this hot hatch-inspired watch for Abarth’s 75th anniversary
Just 375 will be built and it'll set you back £334. Guess that’s one Christmas gift sorted, then
Abarth is releasing this limited edition timepiece to celebrate its 75th anniversary, and unlike the firm's hot hatches it’s actually rather understated.
We're told that just 375 will be built in partnership with long-time collaborator, Breil, and it adopts a similar colour scheme to the 695 75 Anniversario, with a black stainless steel case and a gold crown.
Rubber inserts sit on either side of the lucid black bezel, with a gold second hand sweeping across a two-level black dial and scorpion badging against a gold background.
The indices and numerals are also finished in gold, with a bespoke serial number engraved on the back.
The 143-gram piece is powered by a Japanese Miyota OS21 quartz movement with a water resistance level of 10 ATM. It should survive the washing up without too much trouble then.
Fancy grabbing one this Christmas for the Abarth lover in your life? That’ll be £334 (€399), thank you very much.
