Watch: Alex Wurz gets sideways in Lexus RC F

Published: 05 Feb 2015

Alex Wurz is a former F1 driver, and two-time winner of the Le Mans 24 Hour race.

The Lexus RC F is a rear-drive coupe armed with a 471bhp, naturally aspirated V8.

Put the two together, and there was only ever one likely outcome: oversteer. As proof, pray take a few minutes to watch Mr Wurz - who remains the youngest-ever Le Mans champion, having piloted a Porsche to victory in 1996 at the age of just 22 - exploring the sideways capabilities of Lexus's new BMW M4-fighter around the Ascari circuit.

Yes, F1 drivers can do oversteer.

Have a watch, and then answer us these two questions. One: would you take the RC F over BMW's M4... and indeed the soon-to-arrive new Merc C63? And two: does Wurz have the best Serious Driving Face in the business?
