Watch a 900bhp Ford Mustang RTR drift a ‘cloverleaf’
We don’t understand US jargon. We do appreciate tyre-shredding skill. Volume UP
If you’ve got suggestions for ‘Things A 900bhp Ford Mustang RTR can drift’, maybe get them tweeted, emailed or pigeon-posted to Vaughn Gittin Jr. He’s drifted the Nürburgring, he’s drifted a Japanese mountain with a Lamborghini, and now he’s drifted an entire interstate ‘cloverleaf’ sliproad system. With the blessing of the local lawmakers, of course. Don’t try this on your way home tonight.
Speaking about his good night’s work on this humble Texan interchange near Forth Worth, Gittin said: “Entering a cloverleaf at maximum attack is something I've always wanted to do! There was nothing like the sound of the 5.0 revving out under the overpass portion as it echoed every which way! It was just the right amount of sketchiness and fun together... and quite a bit more challenging than I had expected linking it all together.”
He makes it sounds easy – and look easy in the video too. Sure, this is very impressive. But come and try one of London’s mini-roundabouts for size, Vaughn. There’s your next challenge.
