Last Friday, you may have felt a shudder through the floor at around 5am in the morning. Don’t worry, it was not an earthquake, it was just the internet getting very, very shouty when the covers came off the new mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

“Did they hire their designers from GTA V!” one of you said. “Gonna get one and [add] some Ferrari badges to p*ss off the rich,” another of you commented. Well, safe to say the UK-bound, 495bhp V8 American supercar has successfully stirred the pot.

But how would you spec your Corvette? Luckily, Chevrolet has released an incredibly low-res (c’mon it’s 2019, guys) but seemingly limitless configurator for you to waste your lunch hour on.

Remember, all cars get a 6.2-litre, naturally aspirated smallblock ‘LT2’ V8, sending 495bhp and 470lb ft to the rear wheels via a rear-mounted eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
