Treat yourself with this matching Porsche and private jet

Air travel has been out of the question for many this year, what with, you know, the ongoing global pandemic and all. Which makes the timing of this announcement between Porsche and Brazilian executive jet builder Embraer, seem, er, somewhat odd. 

Still, if you’re after a matching luxury sports car to go with your £8m private jet, then read on. Because customers who purchase a special edition Embraer Phenom 300E business can now buy a matching customised Porsche 911 Turbo S. Some good news at last...

Limited to 10 units, the pair, named “Duet”, have the same two-tone paintwork, with the upper finished in platinum silver metallic, and the bottom in jet grey metallic. The trim strips, meanwhile, are finished in brilliant chrome and speed blue, with the Porsche’s paintwork completed by hand to mirror the painting process for the jet.

Other unique exterior details include Porsche Exclusive wheels finished in platinum silver metallic with speed blue lines on the rim flange, brilliant chrome side air intakes and side window trims, LED door projectors, and a one of 10 emblem on the B-pillar.

The duo also feature a bespoke logo in the form of the wing from the Phenom 300E and the rear wing of the 911, while the individual registration of the respective jet can be found on the underside of the rear wing and on the sides of the vehicle key.

Inside, the Porsche receives combined black and chalk-coloured leather, speed blue stitching, a two-tone leather steering wheel matching the jet’s yoke, Carbon interior package with a high-gloss finish, chalk-coloured Alcantara headliner, and a “One of 10” logo on the front passenger side dash panel trim.

Additional details include “No step” lettering illuminated in red – a reference to the corresponding signs on aircraft wings – a Sport Chrono stopwatch, now featuring a printed-on artificial horizon, and an indoor car cover with “Remove before flight” tags.

Performance is unchanged, meaning a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six that puts out 641bhp and 590lb ft of torque, capable of propelling (see what we did there?) you from zero to 62mph in 2.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 205mph. Still some way short of the top speed of the Phenom 300E – 534mph – but plenty quick enough.

To sweeten the deal, every customer who purchases the dynamic duo will also receive a Porsche Design luggage set, including a pilot’s case and two weekend bags, plus a 1919 Globetimer UTC watch with a matching colour scheme.
