Quick! It's your last chance to grab Top Gear mag's huge Bond special

November issue is a celebration of 007, with FREE Spectre poster

Published: 01 Nov 2015

As you'll have spotted if you haven't been trapped in a hollowed-out volcano for the last month, there's a new Bond film out. Which is why the latest edition of Top Gear magazine - out right now in print and digital form - is a monster 007 special.

Yes, in November’s bumper edition of Top Gear magazine we've been behind the scenes in Rome on the set of new Bond film SPECTRE, and driven both of the film’s leading stars: 007’s Aston Martin DB10 and the evil Jaguar C-X75.

The new issue also sees us look back over 50 years of 007 to bring you the best and worst of Bond’s garage, and comes with a free exclusive film poster. But you'd better be quick, for it's soon to go off sale...

The new issue of TG Mag, with free James Bond SPECTRE poster, and our annual free TG Watches guide is on sale now in all supermarkets and newsagents. Get your copy now

A new Bond film, of course, means only one thing: a new Bond car. But where does the striking DB10 sit in the pantheon of 007 greats? We sent our leading man Chris Evans to find out.

With Bond acquiring a DB10, clearly his evil foes at SPECTRE needed something equally potent on their evil driveway. Jaguar C-X75, we've been expecting you. We dispatched TG’s own Bond villain, Ollie Marriage, to drive the snarling hypercar concept.

Elsewhere, editor-in-chief Charlie Turner managed to sneak past security to go behind-the-scenes on SPECTRE’s main car chase in Rome.

And when we weren’t playing spies this month, we found time to visit Russia and drive the insane eight-wheeled Avtoros Shaman, took a poke around Bugatti’s insane Vision GT concept, and journeyed the length of the Trans-Alaska pipeline in the Mazda MX-5.

In our big group test, the BMW 320d, Mercedes C250 and Jaguar XE 2.0d do battle. Plus we drive all the new cars that matter this month, including the new Vauxhall Astra, Kia Cee’d, Skoda Superb Estate, Range Rover Evoque, Mini Clubman and Honda HR-V.
