New Top Gear magazine out now!
The March issue of Top Gear magazine is out now, and in this issue, we're celebrating the return of two great motoring icons.
First up, Richard Hammond drives the brand new Mazda MX-5, to see if the third generation of the Japanese sportscar can maintain its legacy of being pure, simple, driving pleasure.
Next up is the return of the Ford Focus RS. Originally launched in 2002 with 212bhp and front-wheel drive, the latest incarnation will deliver more than 316bhp to all four wheels. Yep, that's more power than the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO... in a hot hatch.
We also cast an eye over shiny new metal heading your way, including the new Ferrari 488 GTB, the Porsche Cayman GT4 - the most extreme Cayman that just might be the best Porsche ever - and the most extreme Aston Martin in history. Ladies and gentlemen, the 800bhp+ track only Vulcan has landed. Join us as we take a very special look at the £1.8m racer.
There's more. We take the new Mercedes-AMG C63 to Portugal, do some tyre-shredding at Dunsfold in its rivals, the BMW M4 and Lexus RC F, speak to reigning F1 champions Mercedes as part of a massive F1 season preview and get exclusive access to Nissan's radical new 1250bhp, front-wheel-drive LMP1 racer.
Plus: a VW Up/Renault Twingo/Smart ForTwo/Citroen C4 mega test to see who's nailed the 21st century town-car conundrum, a first look at the Aston Vantage GT3, a look inside Morgan's bespoke programme and NASA's Crawler Transporter 2, and Hammond in another of his icons, the Dodge Viper GTS.
Of course, you'll also find reviews of all the cars that matter this month, including the Volvo XC90, Nissan Juke Nismo RS, Vauxhall Adam Grand Slam and Audi RS3.
Get all of this, plus the usual ramblings of Clarkson, May and Hammond.
