New TG mag out now: it’s the 2023 Electric Awards issue
With four covers to collect and a free poster, we name the best EVs around…
Here at TG, every year we take it upon ourselves to name the greatest EVs on the market (and those which haven’t quite arrived yet but that we’re particularly excited for) in our Electric Awards issue of the magazine.
It’s no easy task, and this year was made even more difficult by our decision to crown a true range champion. The test sounds simple – take the five longest-range EVs on sale in Britain for under £50,000, then lap them around the 117-mile loop that is the M25 for 24 hours, with the winner being the car that racks up the most miles. In reality, the inaugural 24 Heures du M25 was anything but simple. Grab a copy of the magazine to find out why.
You can order a single copy to be delivered direct to your door by clicking here, or you can start a subscription to Top Gear magazine using this link. Subscribe today and you'll get your first six issues for just £9.99, then you'll pay just £21.50 every six issues thereafter – still saving 40 per cent on the usual shop price.
Now, as well as naming all the winningest EVs this month, we’ve also got drives of the BMW XM and the new M2, plus there’s our thoughts on the yoke steering of the new Lexus RZ 450e and some very sideways action in an extra special Renault drift car.
But that’s not all, because with the Electric Awards issue there are four covers to collect featuring four different winners, and every issue comes with a free GIANT pullout poster that features the new Lamborghini Revuelto and the Aston Martin Valkyrie. What a treat.
