Chris Harris presents: Top Gear’s Speed Week!

Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present the November issue of Top Gear magazine, and our annual Speed Week special.

We've picked the 18 best performance cars of 2016, driven across Europe and over the Alps, and ended up at the tortuous 2.7-mile Red Bull Ring in Austria, all in the name of speed. Waiting for us at the track was TG TV presenter Chris Harris – and his lederhosen – to conduct this battle royale.

Our smorgasbord of high-octane content includes an analogue vs digital battle in the form of the Porsche 911 R and Honda NSX, a 200mph autobahn mission in the Jaguar F-Type SVR, and a hot hatch mega test as Renault's RS16 takes on the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport S, Ford Fiesta ST200 and Ford Focus RS.

Also in the mix is the not-so-small matter of the £1.8m Aston Martin Vulcan, alongside the new Audi TT RS, BMW M4 GTS, Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, a pair of McLarens and much, much more.

Oh, and we also borrowed a NASCAR. Because ‘Murica. Time to teach those F1 boys how to make some noise.
