Vote now: what's the coolest car of the decade?
You nominated, now it's time to vote for the most sub-zero car of the Onesies so far
Earlier this week, we asked for your nominations for the coolest car of the decade so far. This decade, that is. The Onesies. Does anyone actually call them the Onesies?
Anyhow. We asked, and you responded magnificently. Eloquently. Angrily, in some cases.
The 20 coolest cars of the decade: your nominations
The breadth of your suggestions proved just how darn difficult it is to define 'cool'. From hot Swedish estates to budget French SUVs to six-wheeled off-roaders to Japanese hypercars, your nominations spanned pretty much the full gamut of the automotive world. Still no nominations for the Toyota Auris Hybrid, mind.
We read all your nominations, selected the best 20, and fed them into our newfangled Top Gear MegaPollVoteriser 3000, a state-of-the-art, KERS-equipped widget that may or may not function as intended.
And now we want you to vote for The Coolest Car Of The Onesies Thus Far. Big responsibility, we know. Doing so is (hopefully) simple. Peruse the list of 20 cool car nominations, then drag your favourite 10 into the leaderboard below. Once you've chosen your 10, you can (hopefully) reorder them as you wish, from favourite at the top to slightly-less-favourite at the bottom.
So long as the MegaPollVoteriser 3000 works correctly instead of, say, loosing its moorings and enslaving humanity, we'll announce the results some time next week. There are no prizes for winning, nor taking part. No prizes anywhere, in fact. It's just for fun.
Happy voting, and let us know any glitches using the comments box below. And remember, if your favourite car's not on the shortlist, don't blame us. This is all your own doing.
