This Range Rover Velar is only a fortnight late for Black Friday
Like sleek SUVs? Enjoy the absorption of visible light? Stealth-Velar awaits
This is a black Range Rover Velar. There. Have a nice day.
Okay, so there’s a smidge more to it than just that. This is one of 500 examples of the Range Rover Velar R-Dynamic Black edition. It’s a specced-up, murdered-out version of Land Rover’s urban chic 4x4.
You’re expecting to be powered by the supercharged V8 monster that lives in several SVO creations, like the F-Pace SVR and Velar SVAD, aren’t you. Hah, fooled. Putting the, erm, Dynamic into R-Dynamic Black is the modest 178bhp four-cylinder turbodiesel engine. Because it’s the UK’s favourite. We’re a humble nation, at times.
Ah, only kidding, we want to show off. Which is why the Velar R-DBE has a glass roof, 21-inch rims, a heated steering wheel, and multiple driving modes.
You can have it any colour, so long as it’s black. Or grey. Yep, the Black edition is also available in grey. But the interior? Black only. Unless you buy a standard Velar. Right. Still following?
Deliveries start early on in 2020, and one of the 500 will set you back £56,995. You’ll have to supply your own Amy Winehouse, AC/DC and Jay-Z albums for the hi-fi.
