Turn up the volume and listen to a Pagani 760 LM Roadster scream
Video: you need to hear the special Zonda’s sensational 7.3-litre V12
Don’t worry if you forgot to have your advent calendar chocolate this morning, as this can be your treat for the day.
By clicking play above, your eyes will witness a Pagani Zonda 760 LM Roadster pounding around Autodromo di Modena. But what your ears will hear is pure, distilled delight. We recommend turning your speakers up to max for this one.
The 760 LM Roadster is the latest iteration of the car that refuses to die: the Pagani Zonda.
We're starting to lose count of Horacio's limited editions specials, but honestly, who cares when they look and sound this good?
To break it down, the LM Roadster is the roofless variant of the ‘one-of-one’ 760 LM coupe – the road-going echo of the Zonda R track machine.
Basically, it’s a step beyond even the Cinque, costs over £3.5m and is a 700+bhp carbon-bodied convertible slice of exotica.
It also sounds fan-bloody-tastic. That’s largely thanks to the monstrous and highly strung 7.3-litre AMG V12 plonked behind the driver’s head.
Now, it takes a lot to trump a Lamborghini Gallardo Performante Spyder’s noisy exhaust. But as you’ll hear, the gloss carbon and lime green Zonda completely plops on the little Lambo’s parade.
Once you’re finished, click these blue words, and you can read what it’s like to drive the one-off LM Coupe up a snowy mountain. How’s that for a Brucie Bonus?
