Make your 769bhp Aventador Ultimae even lairier with this Novitec upgrade
The last ever Lamborghini Aventador deserves to go out in a blaze of carbon-fibre glory…
Thinking of buying a Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae but worried it’s too… subtle? Of course not. But if you were, Novitec has just revealed a performance kit that eradicates any last trace of understatedness from the raging bull’s grand finale.
Chief among the upgrades fitted to the LP780-4 is a carbon fibre aero kit that adds spoilers above and below the front air intake, as well as side intakes with custom-built surrounds to push more air to the brakes for improved cooling.
Novitec has also modified the internal ducts within the bonnet to reduce front axle lift (thus improving stability at high speed), and trim pieces along the side of the Lambo send airflow to the radiators with more precision.
Fancy a mahoosive rear wing too? Novitec has two options, each of which can be fitted to either coupe or roadster versions of the Aventador.
The alloys are Novitec NL4s developed by Vossen, with 20in front and 21in rears available in 72 colours, no less. Meanwhile sports suspension allows the Aventador to be lowered by 35mm, and a stainless steel exhaust shaves 19kg off the standard component.
If you were hoping for a performance upgrade we’re afraid the 6.5-litre V12 hasn’t been tinkered with, so the stock 769bhp and 531lb ft is all you have to play with. However, Novitec reckons its exhaust lets the engine breathe better and so makes the noise more sonorous. Is that even possible?
And if that wasn’t quite enough, the German firm claims it can do all manner of custom work to the interior with ‘a virtually endless variety’ of colours available. So, fairly comprehensive then.
Thoughts, folks? Or are we too enamoured with the new Revuelto to care?
