Clarkson vs 599 GTO
Forget Haye vs Harrison, this is the bout you've been waiting for: the fastest, most powerful and most advanced Ferrari in history vs the shoutiest man on the television.
The 599 GTO, for those who have spent the summer hiding in a makeshift nuclear bunker with a foil-helmet on, is only the third Ferrari GTO in 63 years, sports 661bhp from its V12 and runs from 0-124mph in under ten seconds. Put simply, it is rather magnificent.
TG meets the Ferrari 599 GTO
So what happens when it finds itself confronted by a 6ft 5" motoring journalist? Hoonage. Tyre screeching. Oversteer. Glorious drifting framed by a V12 soundtrack.
In case you've forgotten, you can place pre-orders for the first-ever Jeremy Clarkson double-disc DVD The Italian Job here, featuring the Atom V8, Porsche GT3 and Lambo Superleggera LP570-4 going through their paces at Imola. Plus Jeremy's debut in classic touring car racing in a beautiful little Escort California.
The Italian Job is out on 15 November. If you missed them, here's a glimpse at the mental Ariel Atom V8, Mercedes SLS and Pagani Zonda R, and here's the full trailer.
