Porsche Panamera news - Panamera priced up - 2009
Six months before Porsche unleashes the Panemera, the company has announced prices, just to get you in the mood for some super-saloonery.
And here’s the news: the entry-level Panemera S will cost £72,266, the 4S will be £77,269 and the autobahn-spanking Turbo will be £95,298…
If you’re in the mood for a bargain, that might sound a little pricey, especially when a similar V8 powered 7-Series or A8 will cost you less. But at least Porsche will give you lots of goodies for your cash.
Standard bits and pieces on every model include full leather (naturally), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), tyre pressure monitor, touch-screen sat-nav and Bluetooth tech complete with a wireless handset for the bigwigs sat in the back.
Go for the Turbo, and aside from the 500bhp slung under the bonnet, you’ll get 14-way seat adjustment to fit even the strangest-shaped bottoms, a BOSE stereo and heated rear seats to keep those bigwigs warmed and happy as they chat on their phones.
Oh, and if you fancy a bit of double-clutch action, Porsche’s PDK gearbox is a £2,289 option on the ‘S’ and standard on the other two models.
The car goes on sale on 12 September and all customers will get a free session at the Porsche Driving Experience in Silverstone to find out just how sideways their saloon can go.
Might wanna kick the bigwigs out for that bit, though…
