This 1900bhp Ford GT creates thunder

Published: 10 Nov 2014

Some argue the Ford GT is about as close to perfect as recent generation supercars have got. It may not be as fast as a Veyron or as technologically advanced as a LaFerrari (very far from it, in fact), but its ingredients are all so finely balanced.

Its 550bhp supercharged V8 engine certainly provides the firepower to make it properly quick - 0-60mph taking 3.5 seconds and its top speed north of 200mph - but it isn't so much as to make it loony and undriveable. It's one of the most agile supercars going, in fact, despite the fact it's shorn of a stability control safety net. And we've not even touched on how superb it looks.

Despite all of that, though, it's up there with the Nissan GT-R as one of the most frequently tuned performance cars. Many owners go to respected tuners for an extra 100bhp or so. Only one appears to have completely lost his or her respective marbles and nearly quadrupled their car's output, though.

Above, you can see a Ford GT that puts out 1894bhp nearly tear itself from the dyno, all the while creating one heck of a noise. What do you think: spectacular or sacrilege?
