There are many great sights in the world of motoring. Think of a 458 Speciale bombing over an Alpine pass. A Veyron getting maxed at Ehra-Lessien. A G-Wiz gently smouldering at the bottom of a quarry. Whatever floats your aquatic car.

Few sights, though, can top the spectacle of an ex-military chopper chasing after two-and-a-half million pounds of horsepower on a blindingly fast racing circuit. Which is exactly what happened when TG made the trip down to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria.

From lightweights and heavyweights, to off-roaders and track specialists, Speed Week had it all. Including a helicopter. And the Stig. But not both together, because he stops working without continuous exposure to asphalt.
