Strip away the Bentayga's panels and you'll find this intricate wiring system
The Bentley Bentayga. Possibly not a car that immediately strikes you as delicate or, indeed, beautiful to look at.
But then you’ve probably only seen it with its body panels attached. What about if they were stripped away? This is Bentley’s glimpse beneath the Bentayga’s skin, and it’s really quite bewitching.
What we have here is a CAD image of the Range Rover rival’s wiring harness, the structure which transports the power and signals required by its numerous toys and safety systems.
And by numerous, we refer to a list that might fill the rest of the internet if we were to type it out in full.
Highlights? Night vision, a 20-speaker stereo, air suspension and a champagne fridge. In total, we’re told, there are 90 computers running inside the Bentayga, operating 100 million lines of code. Which means it's working considerably harder than the collection of laptops in the TG office…
