New Nissan GT-R revealed

As is well documented on Top Gear, the Nissan GT-R generates enough lateral G during cornering to literally tear off a man's face. This new one then, should comfortably be able to liquidise your skeleton. It's the new Nissan GT-R, and it's been to track school.

Nissan presumably had an epiphany after paying very, very close attention to the monster that raced at this year's Nürburgring 24hrs, because it has decided to apply even more suspension wizardry to the off-the-shelf 2013 GT-R, soon to be inflicting kidney wounds from next spring.

There are changes to the springs and dampers as well as a new front anti-roll bar to lower the centre of gravity, the front suspension features new bolts to "improve camber accuracy when cornering", and the driveshafts have been beefed up (they call it ‘torque carrying capacity') to improve reliability when you're hooning around a track.

The body features reinforcements to the dash panel bar and instrument panel members for better suspension control, while even the nuke under the bonnet - sorry, we mean 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 - gets higher output injectors, a new turbo relief valve and oil pan baffle. It's still churning out 542bhp, mind, but those horses are now capable of boiling your intestines on track at a greater rate.
