The wild Ford Focus RSRX from Gymkhana Nine is for sale
Barrett Jackson will auction Block’s 2016 Focus for charity. Buy it
Gymkhana Nine has clocked up a massive 45 MILLION views since it was released in 2016, and now you can buy the very car that starred in it.
Yup, Ken Block’s 2016 Ford Focus RSRX is up for sale – Barrett Jackson will auction the rallycross car on October 22nd, with all proceeds destined for charity Team Rubicon. There is no reserve, and no indication how much it might sell for.
The Focus was built by M-Sport here in the UK. It has a reinforced seam-welded chassis, underbody protection and a FIA-spec rollcage. A 2.0-litre four-cylinder motor, equipped with a Garrett turbocharger and using Cosworth engine management software, fires 600bhp at all four wheels through a five-speed sequential gearbox from Sadev. Said wheels are by OZ Racing and shod with special rallycross tyres.
Sadev also supplied the differentials, while Reiger did the suspension. Inside there’s a Recaro bucket seat and multifunction steering wheel.
Gymkhana Nine was shot on industrial wasteland in upstate New York. Click on these words to remind yourself how awesome it was. Travis Pastrana has a lot to live up to...
