Video: watch a monster truck do a crazy front flip

Manic, last-dig effort at the Monster Jam World Finals yields tumbly results

As this video proves, we're fast approaching a time when there’s nothing you can do in a car (or something resembling one) that hasn’t already been done. 

Backflips – as well as jumps and general lunacy – are nothing new to the monster truck world, but the first front flip (or at least the first that we’ve seen - tell us below if you've seen it before) has taken a lot longer to manifest.

Just how much of it was done on purpose is anyone’s guess – but we’re tipping that it was at least mildly deliberate. Check out the video above and decide for yourself.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Monster Jam, it’s an international series that focuses on racing (and behaving like spanners) in exceptionally powerful trucks, fitted with tractor tyres. The competition runs across America, as well as touring to countries as diverse as Australia, the Philippines, Spain and Korea. 

The finals, though, are an all-American affair, held in Las Vegas.
