From the makers of Gymkhana…

Published: 06 Aug 2013

This is a 2014 Polaris RZR XP1000 off-road buggy being righteously hooned around an abandoned iron mine by championship Utility Terrain Vehicle racer, RJ Anderson. And guess who shot it? The very team that brought you Ken Block's epic Gymkhana series.

This imposes certain stylistic requirements. Like jumps. And drifts. And smoke. And that meant giving the RZR XP1000 UTV a few tweaks. This XP1K's got Walker Evans Racing suspension, a Kroyer Racing engine and drivetrain, and MCX-USA turbo kit.

Polaris says: "The location we picked for XP1K is called Eagle Mountain. It's an abandoned iron mine just East of Palm Springs, California that was used [for a location in] Terminator. It was the perfect off-road playground..."

Now watch, click through our gallery here, then tell us which other movie locations you'd like to hoon one of these around? Valhalla? Mount Doom? The Forest Moon of Endor?
