Audi news - Audis to star at Goodwood show - 2006

Audi fans will be able to gorge themselves at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 7-9.

The Goodwood classic racing fantasia will see the first outing for Audi's recreated 1939 Auto Union D-Type racer, which was remade by specialists in the UK.

Other famous Audis set to make an appearance are Hannu Mikkola's 1983 Group B Quattro rally car and a 1988 200 Quattro Trans Am racer.

Audi is also hoping to bring along its latest R10 diesel-powered Le Mans racer, possibly fresh from winning the French 24 Hours race.
