This six-wheeled Land Rover Defender is so fierce it wears a muzzle

Apocalypse’s 525bhp V8-powered ‘World Ender’ will set you back at least £280,000

Published: 24 Sep 2024

Apocalypse Manufacturing is no stranger to adding extra wheels, barrels of underbody protection and beefed-up suspension to already purpose-built off-roaders; just take the modified Rivian R1T Nirvana or the Juggernaut 6x6 for proof.

But now it’s gone one better by throwing a muzzle onto a Land Rover Defender, because why wouldn’t you do that? We’d suggest some Pedigree Schmackos instead of petrol for improved performance.

Anyway, what you’re looking at is the ‘World Ender’: a supercharged 5.0-litre V8-powered monster with 525bhp sent to each of its six wheels, a reinforced subframe and flared arches that increase the Defender’s width a further two inches.

See all that wheel-well gap above the 38in tyres and 20in military-style alloys? That’s there because the independent air-ride suspension can be adjusted by up to eight inches too. Talk about presence.

Anyway, the rest of the exterior is… an eyeful, to say the least. There’s that a quartet of lamps forming the roof light bar, a sturdy old rack and a pick-up bed with a roll cage out back.

Pricing for the World Ender starts at £280,000 before you throw on any bespoke interior changes; Belgian Malinois-themed seat covers, Poodle-scented air fresheners… that sort of thing. The very first example has also already been delivered, so the dotted lines are ready for your signature once you’ve got a kennel sorted.
