G-Power will give your BMW M8 a terrifying 887bhp

The G8M Hurricane RR gets bonkers power and very bright paintwork

Published: 05 Aug 2021

Recently taken delivery of a new BMW M8 Competition and not satisfied with the 625bhp produced by its twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8? Not to worry, German tuner G-Power has just the thing for you…

Welcome to the G8M Hurricane RR – an overhauled M8 with upgraded turbos, a larger intake, forged engine internals and a reinforced drivetrain, plus a stainless steel exhaust and an ECU remap for a total of 887bhp and 774lb ft of torque.

There’ll also be an RS version without the forged internals and with *only* 828bhp, but both get the mad carbon fibre bonnet and the large rear wing you see above. Oh, and all of G-Power’s Hurricane series cars are painted orange. Bold, isn’t it?

Apparently there are two types of 21-inch forged wheels available and adjustable coilovers drop the M8 by a fair few millimetres. The interior gets much carbon fibre and Alcantara, as well as a little plaque to remind you that you’ve bought a monster.

Thoughts, Internet? Remember, if the coupe isn’t doing it for you, you could always spec the G8M as a Gran Coupe or a Convertible…
