The envy is strong with this one-of-five Land Rover Defender 90 convertible
Hammered together by Heritage Customs, the ‘Valiance Convertible’ is priced at £76k plus the donor car
How high on your wishlist is a very yellow, very convertible Land Rover Defender 90? Yep, it’s tipping off the edge of ours too.
Happily, Dutch coachbuilder Heritage Customs has now followed up its initial reveal by putting its ‘Valiance Convertible’ into a limited production run of five units.
There’s a lot to dissect: semi-electric custom roof has been paired with an FIA-standard roll cage, 22-inch Supersonic forged wheels and a third brake light to give life to a product which even Land Rover’s wildest skunkworks employees couldn’t dream of.
Though, these changes can be quite easy to miss because… well, just look at the paint job. The stunning shade of Sunbeam yellow is seconded by black accents and gun metal inserts, resulting in a creation which looks like it could single-handedly replace that big yellow sphere in the sky and keep our planet warm.
The interior has also been given a polish, with the front and rear seats, steering wheel, dashboard, and armrests now teeming with quilted diamond patterns and yellow stitching.
The centre console has also been thrown into the recycling bin to accommodate a sixth person, who’ll likely have their knees wedged right up against the revised 3D aluminium inlays.
We hate to burst your bubble at this point, but if you hadn’t already guessed... the allocation of all five cars has been filled, costing £76,000 plus donor car apiece. Probably sold out quicker than a pair of Drake concert tickets...
