The Arctic Trucks Land Cruiser 250 AT37 looks mean as hell

Arctic Trucks has done its thing with the Land Cruiser, and you’ll be able to buy one from your local Toyota dealer

Published: 27 Jan 2025

The new Land Cruiser 250 is already pretty capable in the rough stuff, but that hasn’t stopped the adventurous folk at Arctic Trucks from trying to make it totally unstoppable.

So, enter stage left, the Arctic Trucks Land Cruiser 250 AT37. Heck, you certainly can’t miss it. Developed by the Arctic Trucks divisions in Iceland and the UK, alongside Toyota Africa distributor CFAO, the AT37 is designed to cross continents no matter the state or even existence of roads.

The name comes from its 37in tyres, which will either be BFGoodrich’s new All-Terrain T/A KO3 or Mud-Terrain T/A KM3, depending on the market. There are new retro-spec Arctic Trucks forged alloy wheels too, plus supremely fancy two-way adjustable performance suspension that provides increased travel and 40mm of lift.

As you’ve probably noticed, there’s a wider track and brilliantly boxy wheelarch extensions that incorporate a tyre pressure guide at each corner. Yeah, that’s pretty serious. Other touches include new side steps, a fresh tow hitch, Arctic Trucks-branded mudguards and plenty of special black and lava badging.

Oh, and the best bit? As an official Toyota partner, Arctic Trucks is launching the 250 AT37 (or the Prado AT37 in some markets) as an ‘official dealership-supplied version’ of the new Land Cruiser. We might just need to pay our local Toyota dealer a visit tomorrow. For completely unrelated reasons, of course.
