Jeremy Clarkson news - Video: footage from Jeremy’s new DVD, The Italian Job - 2010

Published: 11 Oct 2010

Don't say we're not good to you on TopGear.com. Every Monday for the next four weeks, we'll be uploading some exclusive clips and outtakes from Jeremy’s new DVD: The Italian Job. And we're starting today.

Jezza's first-ever double-disc DVD operates under a simple premise. He needs to get fit to take part in his first-ever touring car race. Eschewing more traditional methods, he quickly hits upon a ruse: a week at Italy's finest heath farm. Imola.

Featuring some of the cars that couldn't or didn't make the last series of Top Gear - the Mercedes SLS, Porsche GT3, Lambo Superleggera LP570-4 and 599 GTO, among others - this regime proves surprisingly effective.

And it delivers Jeremy back to the UK in fine fettle to take the wheel of a highly tuned Ford Escort Mexico for his debut in classic touring cars.

That's the main reel for you - the DVD also includes a 45-minutes behind-the-scenes doc, plus JC's favourite five-car demolitions from over the years.

You can place your pre-orders for Jeremy Clarkson: The Italian Job right here - it's out on 15 November. That's 40 days before Christmas. Enough time for even the most rankly disorganised to click on a link.

And here's your first clip - come back next Monday for more...
