Stealth grey Alfa Giulia and Stelvio QV revealed

Today, we have something to make you coo with joy. It is a picture of two special edition Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglios, resplendent here in a stealth grey paintjob. You’re welcome.

They are both dubbed ‘NRING’ - not the sound you're probably making having seen that pic - but instead named to celebrate both cars' exploits at the Nürburgring, and 108 years of Alfa Romeo. Ah, that famous anniversary.

So, only 108 examples of both the Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING and Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRING will be built, and come packed with a range of new Things. Inside Things include carbon-shelled Sparco race seats, leather and Alcantara on the steering wheel, carbon inserts and a Mopar gearshift knob.

There’s also a Harman Kardon audio pack, 3D nav with an 8.8in screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB, and even Mopar floor mats.

Outside Things include carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fibre badges and rear mirror caps, CF side skirt inserts, tinted windows, and – for the Giulia – a bare carbon roof. Oh, and NRING badges. And that delightful ‘Circuito Grey’ livery, exclusive for these special editions.

Standard equipment needs mentioning here, because it’s really not standard, and quite lovely. Both cars come out swinging with a 503bhp bi-turbo 2.9-litre V6, torque vectoring diffs, and much good noise. Giulia does the 0-62mph sprint in just 3.9s before topping out at 191mph, while the big Stelvio lug records 3.8s to 62mph, and 176mph flat out.

As for the Nürburgring reference? Not only does Alfa have proper history at the ‘Ring, the Giulia QV managed a 7m 32s lap time, while Stelvio smashed out a 7m 51.7s; both records for their respective segments.
