Watch: Formula 1 spoofs 2018's team radio messages

Formula One might need overhaul when it comes to engine noise, downforce rules and grid penalties, but there’s no doubt that since Liberty Media wrested control from Bernie Ecclestone, F1 has learnt to laugh at itself from time to time. And to make the fans smile in the process.

Today’s tweet featuring a round-up of animated takes on 2018’s team radio snippets is a cracking example.

Well done to animator Nick Murray Willis for the creativity at work.

We won’t spoil the punchlines here, but be warned: watch these and you might not be able to keep a straight face during next season’s round of pit stops.

Still, that’ll certainly make races like Bahrain and Abu Dhabi more engaging...
