Check out this incredible Honda-based silver bullet from custom bike builder Bandit9
Mad design of NASA-inspired two-wheeler has us shook
Bike builder Bandit9 is giving us another custom creation that belongs in a design museum as much as it deserves to be ridden. The EVE Odyssey is a dreamy (albeit dear) 125cc bullet-on-wheels. Literally.
A four-stroke follow-up to the equally radical EVE, the Odyssey’s incredible space-grade, bespoke aluminium unibody cleverly combines the lighting, steering, tank and seat. As well as featuring an all-chrome fairing and single-sided swingarm, the Odyssey is beautifully accented with a black rear monoshock and black circles (duh, obvs).
There’s an LED binnacle and the seat can be specced in leather or neoprene, for the surfers in the house. While the streamlined look doesn’t have the comfort levels we’d appreciate for a 156-mile estimated range, the choice of upholstery is a nice touch.
Capable of topping out at 68mph, Bandit9 reckons it’ll go to the edge of space and back (metaphorically speaking, we presume), which is probably why its pretty promo film is soundtracked by David Bowie’s Starman.
A lick over £13,000 to buy, the EVE Odyssey is on a limited run for anyone looking for their next ride, or art investment. With an electric version due later this year, we’ll be expecting that 120kg kerb weight to, well, rocket.
