What does a Young Person make of TG's long-term Lexus RX 450h?
Words: Elliott Webb
Custodian Jason Barlow gave me the keys to the RX450h, citing a need for a younger, hipper demographic's viewpoint on the sportiest of the RX family.
Off I went on a family roadtrip to the Yorkshire Dales. First up, a shout out to the adaptive cruise system: its control on the motorway’s curves is impressive, very smooth and in no way jerky like I found in our Range Rover Sport.
When the motorway changes to miles of B-roads, the feel of the car changes too, the adaptive dampers keep the RX’s weight stable, and the back seat passengers don’t seem even slightly bothered.
We arrive and get our stuff out of the massive boot – 461 litres of space is enough to make you consider having more kids to fit in all their stuff – and relax. All good.
