Zenvo TSR-S review
Buying
What should I be paying?
Difficult to know what information to put in here. Let’s start with the price. It’s basically POA. It’s so bespoke and unique that there’s no set list price. Just know you’ll be in for seven figures and leave it at that.
All other costs flow from that. A twin supercharged V8 is perhaps the thirstiest internal combustion configuration possible. I reckon you’d be doing well to get 150 miles from a tank. Reckon on about 10mpg. Imagine damaging one of those huge carbon panels. Imagine the work needed to get them back to perfection. Now imagine the insurance.
A Zenvo isn’t ever going to be the first car in your garage. Probably not even the tenth. Maybe the hundredth, there to complete a line up that includes other rare groove hypercars. It means you’ll have something else to bash about in when the TSR-S heads off for servicing in Denmark. And you’ll always have exclusivity – that’s off the charts when the firm has only ever built as many cars as you have fingers and toes. Vollertsen believes they can get to a stage when they’re building five cars a year. Hardly mass production, is it?
