Interior
What is it like on the inside?
Obviously this is a GLC first and foremost, so everything from our recently updated GLC and GLC Coupe applies. In short: big new displays, fiddlier infotainment, and as per in the GLC Coupe and all coupefied SUVs: crap visibility.
A tempting option in the GLC 63 are bucket seats, but much as we love their slim-backed look, buyer beware. They’re very firmly padded, and combined with the rock-hard ride, hurt the long-distance comfort. Not to mention, less lithe owners may struggle to vault up into the GLC’s cabin and over such a tall bolster without doing themselves a mischief. The standard seats don’t quite perch you as low in the car, but the trade-off in ultimate support is worthwhile for a little less numbness at a cruise.
